About the Item

Classic Serapi quality NW Persian carpet with a natural dye palette and cotton foundation. The madder field shows a sometimes connected scatter of geometric leaves and flowers, centralized by a stepped blue medallion with dramatic sand ragged palmette pendants and a red four palmette sub-medallion. Ecru corners with light rose brackets. Sapphire blue main border with stretched reversing simple turtle palmettes.
