About the Item
An antique Persian Bidjar accent rug. The subtly abrashed light graphite field displays a rendering of the classic allover Avshan pattern with rounded octofoil rosettes and double ‘goosenecks’. The sienna brown border features reversing turtle palmettes, rosettes and small boteh-leaves. This Kurdish scatter is solidly woven and will last virtually forever under even the heaviest traffic.
