About the Item
An antique Persian Kurd Accent rug. Rows of typical Kurdish flowers are arranged in an offset pattern on a nearly black ground. The main border continues the field modules intact and the ivory minor stripes employ tiny, colorful X’s within an open double tendril pattern. This is a true village rug in a popular rustic format from Kurdistan in western Persia.
