About the Item

An antique Persian Kurdish Bidjar rug. An enormous serrated straw octagon and two vertical similar half octagons dominate the abrashed blue-grey field with floating side filler light blue-grey triangles. The brown, straw and light blue-grey borders all feature rosettes and either chevrons or X’s. All Bidjars are Kurdish and this is a village rather than a town production Hand-knotted in Persia Wool One-of-a-kind Measures: 4' 7" x 6' 7"
