About the Item

A vintage Persian Joshegan accent rug. This well-woven central Persian town scatter follows the Joshegan playbook with dozen geoidal flowerhead arrays arranged without any encompassing trellis on a brick field with matching old ivory corners. The semi-geometric border employs two palmette styles and a connecting formal vine. Nothing else looks like a Joshegan and the town has woven this pattern for at least two centuries. Hand-knotted in Persia Wool One-of-a-kind Measures: 4' 2" x 6' 3"
