Gorgeous Persian Tabriz carpet with portrait scenery of figure. The figure seems to be holding a ax, while gazing behind him. Wearing a vivid orange outer garment with traditional clothing of the 17th / 18th century of Persia. The condition is excellent with no major damages or any major issues. It has a beautiful, lovely Persian leaf motif frame that is original to the pictorial carpet. The colors are very bright and vivid as if it was made yesterday. The weaving techniques of Persian carpets is no match to any competitor. Persian carpets are known to be the best of its kind. Especially of the Tabriz region.
