This carpet is hand-knotted in Yalameh, a town north of the city of Isfahan. Yalameh is famous for its carpets with ancestral and tribal designs. They are of high quality with geometric designs. The fleece used is wool . The design is geometric with repeated diamond shaped medallion. The dimensions are 187cm long and 150cm wide. Yalameh rugs are among the best tribal rugs woven in Iran and will work both modern and traditional furniture.
