This antique Persian Hadji Jallili rug has a dusty-pink field with a large cusped panel with light blue cusped tendrils linked by a polychrome palmettes and surrounded by palmette and floral vine around a sandy-yellow cusped medallion with a similar tomato-red double serrated leaves and palmettes around a central tomato-red cusped medallion with delicate floral vine and a central rosette medallion with a large palmette at each side, the sandy-yellow linked spandrels with a tomato-red and light blue serrated leaf vine with palmettes surrounded by flowerhead vine, in a broad pale blue border of brick-red, sky-blue, indigo and pale dusty-pink serrated leaf vine issuing bold palmette and delicate floral vine between light blue scrolling floral and light blue and ivory reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes, outer tomato-red dense acanthus leaf stripe.
