This large Sultanabad design rug offers a harmonious balance of classical Persian motifs and a vibrant yet refined color palette. The ivory ground is filled with an expansive allover pattern of stylized rosettes, floral palmettes, and leafy vines arranged in a rhythmic vertical grid. Accents of soft sky blue, brick red, pale gold, and deep navy are woven throughout the design, creating subtle contrast and visual movement across the field.
The wide border is richly detailed with larger-scale palmette forms in alternating bands of coral red, soft cream, and azure blue, outlined with intricate scrolling vines and framed by multiple guard borders in complementary tones.
