Persian Lori Gabbeh rug, woven in Iran circa 2000.
This contemporary Gabbeh piece features a rich deep red field framed by an ivory geometric border arranged in a stepped layout. The minimal, graphic composition creates a strong visual contrast while maintaining the calm and grounded character typical of Gabbeh weaving. Subtle details within the border add texture and rhythm without overpowering the design.
Woven from high quality wool on a wool foundation, the rug has a dense, soft pile with a natural, matte finish. The thick wool structure gives the surface warmth and depth, making it well suited for both modern and traditional interiors.
