Vintage Style Rug Silk and Wool area living dining room
Exclusive designer rug, hand-knotted from wool and real silk.
Our collection of high quality modern rugs is made in India by excellent artisans. In order to get stunning look, we specifically looked for old women in small villages who can still master the art of hand spinning. Hand spinning gives the wool a certain irregularity in the yarn thickness, which is what gives this rug its special look.
In this piece, the finest silk was combined with merino wool from New Zealand.
The touch is soft and cozy thanks to the use of the finest materials. The carpet is approx. 1/2 inch / 12 mm high.
