Design Analysis

Curvilinear palmettes, layered rosettes, leaf scrolls, cloudbands, and arabesques interlock across the field in a continuous, flowing rhythm. Multiple borders frame the composition, anchored by a wide main border enriched with floral cartouches and supported by several finely detailed guard borders. The palette centers on a deep navy blue field contrasted by warm terracotta borders and accents, softened by pale apricot beige, sage green, dusty salmon, and sand tones. Mild abrash is visible in the navy and terracotta areas, adding depth and antique character.
