This spectacular midcentury Persian Lilihan (circa 1950) bears a magnificent splendor indicative of royal tastes, which sought perfection in balance and palette. The central, tan field displays various floral motifs and hosts a center medallion, held in place by flattering flowers and vines. The inner and outer guards contain a running pattern of flowers, alternating palmettes, and swept leaves. Colors include taupe, tan, light blue, and brown.
