This rug features a floral medallion pattern and has designed by Nouvinfar which you can see the signature of the weaver in this beautiful piece. The pile is wool and silk with silk foundation. The size is 8 feet 2 inches by 12 feet 2 inches, which is a very rare and unique size. In this brand new rug the patterns are very visible due to the silk and this rug has an end Kilim work at each end which gives an extra beauty touch to this art piece. Tabriz is one of the oldest rug weaving centers and makes a huge diversity of types of rugs. This is a 60 Raj rug (Raj is a total number on knots in 7 linear centimeters) and in this piece means that it has 60 knots in 7 centimeters in length which shows the very high quality in this piece.
