It measures approximately 3 ft 4 in x 11 ft 1 in (about 1.02 m x 3.38 m), placing it in the classic runner size class suited to long, narrow circulation spaces. Fully hand knotted using the asymmetrical (Persian) knot, it reflects traditional village weaving from the Bakhtiari cultural region of Iran, where wool quality and structural endurance have long been defining attributes. Its age places it firmly in the antique category with enduring collectible appeal.
The field displays an allover pattern anchored by a sequence of large starburst floral medallions, surrounded by serrated leaves, rosettes, lattice blossoms, and sinuous vine scrolls.
