Traditional Sultanabad design handmade wool rug by Doris Leslie Blau.
Size: 12'0" × 15'0" (365 × 457 cm).
The mesmerizing rug before you allures with the timeless beauty of the nature-inspired pattern and an utterly fashionable color palette. Its main field carries a graceful vine trellis with flowers and palmettes – a Classic of Persian artistry. The main border builds upon palmettes and Shah Abbas while the secondary borders complement the whole with rows of flower heads. As mentioned before, the coloration of the new rug perfectly fits into present-day decorating standards. The combination of extinguished blue with beige is slightly invigorated thanks to subtle touches of carmine, brick red and brown.
