In rich green, blue, orange, cream, and black wool, this modern, hand-knotted, Bakhshayesh carpet measures 3’ x 5’ and belongs to Orley Shabahang’s Tribal Revival collection. The design pulls inspiration from traditional Bakhshayesh and Heriz carpets. Coming out of the Heriz region, Bakhshayesh patterns are timeless and incorporate many forms of symbolism into their design. This carpet features motifs of cypress trees, flowers and vines throughout, which are detailed using orange, cream, grey, and blue wool to provide extra contrast and clarity. Due to this carpet’s size and color palette, this carpet would make a fabulous addition in practically any space.
