This superb early 20th-century Kurdish Bidjar rug is an exceptional example of one of Persia’s most durable and visually commanding weaving traditions. The luxurious camel hair field provides a warm, softly glowing foundation for an all-over paisley pattern, a design format deeply rooted in Persian textile symbolism and favored for its rhythmic elegance and visual depth.
