77329, vintage Chinese area rug with Persian Tabriz design and Regency style. Ravishing and refined, this hand knotted wool and silk vintage Chinese Tabriz Persian style rug features a large-scale cusped circular medallion anchored with palmette pendants at either end and outlined with floral bouquets. An all-over botanical garden scene composed of blooming palmettes, leafy tendrils, blossoms, rosettes, curled sickle leaves, and arabesque vines dance gracefully around the central medallion. Arabesque vines create a frame for the ecru corner spandrels adorned with palmettes, stylized flowers, and rosettes. It is enclosed with an elaborate cartouche palmette border flanked with an inner and outer guard band. Perfect for a bedroom, living room, dining room, front room, private library, music room, home office, studio, study, private Chamber, drawing room, parlor, or formal sitting area. Well-suited for a wide range of interior styles: Baroque, Regency, Renaissance, Old World, Dutch Renaissance, Arabian, Islamic, Louis XIV, Louis XI, Louis XV, Rococo, Chippendale, Regal, Aubusson, Traditional, Eclectic, European, and Savonnerie inspired interiors with Gobelins or Beauvais style. Whether in a formal setting with elaborate furnishings or in an Ottoman style interior, this Chinese floral rug will bring vibrant life where it is displayed. Rendered in variegated shades midnight, black, ink blue, mauve, rose, burgundy, verdigris, gray, army green, rose, brick red, terra cotta, ecru, tan, sand, beige, and almond with other accent colors.
