About the Item
:: Center medallion with scalloped contour and trefoil shaped finials atop a covered ground and repeating main border. An unusual design in that the pattern of lattice oriented floral design elements are virtually uninterrupted from end to end of the carpet, and most any variation is strictly in the inverted coloration and fills with exception to minor thin outlines. At the top center of the outer minor border is a faded weaver inscription. Colors and shades include: Ivory, sky blue, indigo blue, sea foam green, cream, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Bulgarian Tabriz design carpet made in Bulgaria circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 8'10" x 11'8".
