About the Item
In this listing you will find a gorgeous vintage Afghan Baluch tribal rug, featuring repetitive geometric pattern, hand-knotted in soft wood pile. The rug is originating from the Baluch (Baloch) tribes of the Khorasan region spanning southwestern Afghanistan. The style features traditional nomadic weaving techniques and typical color palettes, including brown, burnt orange and burgundy. Estimated age of the rug is 70-80 years.
The rug is in good vintage condition with some signs of time and use.
