This vintage 4x9 Persian Kilim is a rare midcentury tribal runner, handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960.
Its design enjoys a meticulous striae of colors—the sheer variety of which one seldom sees in its period. Keen eyes will note forest green, beige and brown, gold accents, and rust tones in the many-present hues at play. It’s a refreshing piece with movement and presence, and its runner size offers vast design applications, too.
