On the Design:
This impactful kilim draws its strength from a deep, commanding palette and a sense of vast horizontal layering. The design is structured by broad, confident horizontal stripes that emphasize the rug's width and create a powerful, enveloping presence on the floor. The palette is anchored in rich, natural hues: vast bands of deep chocolate and near-black brown alternate with stripes of warm camel and light beige. Small, intentional accents of pale blue and slate gray are sparingly woven in, offering a cool, subtle contrast against the dominant warmth.
