Warm and sophisticated with incredible detail and texture, this hand-knotted silk vintage Persian Qum rug beautifully embodies Chippendale style. The silky field features a concentric medallion in the center anchored with palmette pendants and surrounded by an all-over botanical pattern composed of blooming palmettes, lotus blossoms, rosettes, curved sickle leaves, stylized florals, leafy tendrils, and delicate arabesque vines. Opulent frondescence sprout from the elaborate corner spandrel featuring a bounty of florals and foliage. It is enclosed with a leafy palmette border flanked with a series of thin inner and outer meandering floral guard borders. With its ornate pattern, dazzling finish and refined color combination, this vintage Persian rug emanates so much character and will boost the coziness factor in nearly any space. Rendered in variegated shades of brown, beige, tan, taupe, coffee, taupe, sand, ecru, greige, light gray, mushroom, and pashmina with other neutral accent colors.
