With it's rich colors and exotic glamour, this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Tabriz rug truly embodies Venetian style with a hint of Baroque. The vintage Persian rug beautifully highlights an all-over symmetrical floral pattern in vibrant colors illuminating its lively, composition. Taking center stage is a cusped teal medallion filled with blooming lotus. The cusped teal medallion floats inside a maroon palmette and lotus medallion flanked with palmette finials at either end. Designed to impress, the all-over floral pattern unfolds lavish details of blooming palmettes, lotus blossoms, curved sickle leaves, arabesque vines, stylized lilies and tulips with leafy tendrils and acanthus leaves. Showcasing traditional opulence and colorful floral bounty this Persian Tabriz rug is the epitome of Classic, luxurious style. Elaborate spandrels grace each corner with ornate acanthus scrolls and filigree. A palmette border with garland wreaths and lush foliage flanked with an inner and outer filigree meander guard band enclose this work of art.
