Made with hand-knotted wool circa 1950-1960, this 9x10 antique Persian Tabriz rug is a bold new addition to the Rug
Kilim Collection, featuring all over geometric-floral patterns and medallion in colorful tones.
On the Design:
A central floral medallion in golden-brown anchors a sophisticated design on a dark burgundy field. The medallion emanates delicate floral sprays and graceful arabesques in shades of beige, black and cream, their organic forms creating rhythmic movement across the ground. The refined border in russet features a continuous pattern of stylized rosettes and vines, providing perfect containment for the central design. Most captivating is the piece's extraordinary sense of balance—each botanical element appears to float with perfect equilibrium, while delicate blooms create moments of lyrical detail throughout the field.
