76734 Vintage Persian Tabriz Rug, 08'02 x 12'00. Colonial Revival meets Belgian Chic in this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Tabriz rug. The botanical design elements and neutral earth-tone colors in this piece emulates the timeless design and classic elegance inspired by traditional colonial architecture. Starting from the center, a minuscule cruciform cross motif enveloped with an allover pattern made from a botanical cascade of blooming palmettes, acanthus scrolls, lotus blossoms and stylized floral elements. A delicately woven palmette border enclosed with floral meander guard borders gives the piece definition and a sense of order.
Swaying between the gamut of timeless design and stately appeal, this vintage Persian area rug embraces the relaxed refinement and subtle ornamentation derived from Colonial Revival, Federal Adam style, Neoclassic, Georgian, Eclectic Movement and British Colonial. Design a warm and inviting ambiance that feels informally formal with a sense of history rooted in nostalgic charm and inherent eloquence. The lovingly time-worn composition in combination with its mellow colorway based around neutral earthy hues gives the piece a genteel and most distinguished sensibility.
