About the Item
In this listing you will find a stunning Quchan rug, hand-woven by Kurdish tribes in West Asia, in finest wool on wool foundation. Design feature repeating geometric motifs, such as rectangular, hexagonal, or octagonal figures, in dark, natural-dyed colors. These rugs are typically produced in smaller, practical sizes suitable for tribal tent living. Estimated time of weaving is 1940s.
Tje rug is in very good vintage condition with some signs of time and use.
