Kurdish design rugs and carpets are mainly made of fine, hand-spun wool,
This wonderful and stunning example comes from Eastern Turkey.
This rug was made in a village close to the border to Syria. It has a wonderful wool quality and elegant luster. It is dense in pile and excellent condition.
Origin: Turkey
Pile material: Fine hand-spun wool, medium pile height
Weft material: Wool
Warp material: Wool
Structure: Soft and with a dense pile - fine sheep's wool
Colors: Blue, Violet, Red, Green - all natural dyes.
This is vintage rug, condition between excellent and very good.
Size: approx. 6.8 x 4.4 ft.
