This beautiful kilim runner is a celebration of both artisanal craftsmanship and the artistic vision of weavers of the Shahsavan tribe. Defined by its rich simplicity, the central field of the rug features a broad expanse of deep reddish-brown tones, subtly shifting across the surface in softly blended bands. These tonal variations, caused by natural wool dye and the use of hand-spun yarns, lend the piece a gentle, atmospheric quality. Framing this expansive field is a striking decorative border composed of small, geometric motifs rendered in vivid colors like gold, white, red, and gray.
