A pair of twin 3x21 vintage Persian runners, hand knotted in wool circa 1950-1960 from the acclaimed works of Rashid Farokhi. Among the rare few signature pieces, as seen in the upper border among hues of beige, red, and green.
On the Design:
Among spectacular colorway choices, particularly in the background, this discerning green is a calling card of the artist. The pattern further enjoys a distinctive symmetry and pleasing movement for such a detailed floral drawing. Perfect for hallway and stairway runner projects in its phenomenal large size and good condition for its age and lineage.
