Hand knotted with a bold, luminous silk originating from Persia between 1920-1940, this vintage Tabriz Persian rug enjoys one of the most interestingly graphed drawings with a variety of symbolic interpretations. Complemented by both versatile and vibrant beige brown, crimson red, blue, green, and orange-pink colorways, the wide variety of colorways and floral symbols in the mirrored and central borders can also be seen in the many brilliant sections of the medallion field design, the mesmeric grid-like drawing unfolding from the center of this piece lends it a sense of depth and dimensionality all its own among one of the most regarded antique Persian families of rugs.
