This vintage 5 x 8 piece is a rare mid-century Persian horse cover—handmade with felt wool circa 1950-1960.
Items like these are extremely collectible—once used to keep high-value horses warm after their races. Its design favors beige and off-white notes, as well as polychromatic embroidery with navy blue and red notes therein.
