Designed by Campbell-Rey with a colorful and art deco-influenced sensibility and the floral motifs of Gustavian style, the neoclassicism of the North. Gustavian style, a Swedish take on French neoclassicism dating back to the 1780s, with motifs like the wreath and the folding ribbon, is alongside ideas taken from the history of garden design, at the heart of this collection.
Climbing Vine is a contemporary update to a classic motif, a line of scrolling chartreuse foliage, sharp and graphic in its outline, that winds around the edge of a calm lilac rug.
Climbing Vine is handmade in small batches. Founded by Swedish family trio Liza Laserow, Fabian Berglund and Felix Berglund who joined forces in 2016 to follow their true passion for entrepreneurship, design and their home country. Our love for the vibrant facades of the 19th century classic Stockholm architecture inspired our design. The pale- and deep blues, the pinks, the yellows and the burnt reds are all colors that carry through the entire collection along with the simplicity of the patterns. That makes choosing rugs for multiple rooms easy. No matter the size, pattern or color, they’re designed to look great together. It’s that simple.
