Vintage Green Flat-weave Rug by Ingegerd Silow
Size: 6'3" × 9'3" (190 × 281 cm)
A vintage, Swedish flat weave wool rug made by Ingegerd Silow with woven initials (IS) at a corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. The rug displays an open green field decorated with a wide beige border composed of Greek-fret motifs enclosed by a border with further geometric motifs along shorter edges. The geometric design and earthy colorway woven into this piece work together, creating a truly classic Scandinavian look. The rug is rendered in variegated shades of green, brown, orche, tan, pistachio and beige.
