About the Item
Danish contemporary artist Carsten Beck Nielsen ‘paints’ geometric shapes with a shaggy hand-knotted wool pile on a flat-woven canvas. For this second edition of Art on Rugs the angular shapes are inspired by different geometric and mathematical forms. The rugs, available in cream/almond and dusty white/black, are handmade by artisan weavers using high quality wool.
This shaggy style rug is made with New Zealand wool for great quality and a soft feel. The pattern will scale according to size.

Our love for the vibrant facades of the 19th century classic Stockholm architecture inspired our design. The pale- and deep blues, the pinks, the yellows and the burnt reds are all colors that carry through the entire collection along with the simplicity of the patterns. That makes choosing rugs for multiple rooms easy. No matter the size, pattern or color, they’re designed to look great together. It’s that simple.
