The eye-catching geometric design and earthy colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly one-of-a-kind look. The composition is divided into a series of vertical columns in alternating colors. At either end, horizontal bands composed of squares and cubes run from side to side interrupting the continuity. With its well-balanced asymmetry and earth-tone colors, the overall design aesthetic is simple, straightforward and streamlined with an emphasis on functionality.
This vintage Swedish rug was woven in Kronoborgs Lans Hemslojd-Kristianstad by Irma Kronlund.
