About the Item

Amazing mid-century Danish modern Ege Rya wool area rug. Traditional modern Scandinavian motif in hues of red, green, yellow, white and black. Red tones are rich and lean towards crimson. The yellow tones are a vibrant harvest gold. Rug retains original Ege Rya paper label. This rug is NOS (New Old Stock). It has never been used, sold or even walked on. Purchased as inventory by a prominent rug dealer in Boston in the late 70's who passed away shortly after. Kept in climate controlled storage ever since. Excellent, new condition, no issues whatsoever. A rare find, indeed!! Measures: 108" x 72".
