Kilim. Handwoven in wool, cotton and natural yarns, this design is inspired by Swedish Deco Rollakan and Rya rugs.
On the Design:
This circular flatweave enjoys geometric patterns in tones of green, blue and beige with off-white and gray accents. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae like a vintage abrash. This proprietary technique of ours both honors mid-century weaving techniques and reinvents them to create a more subtle sense of movement within such comfortable repeat designs.
This modern rug further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. This represents a comfortable, sophisticated contribution to this mid-century modern aesthetic that honors its foundations in a luxury style.
