Kilim’s Scandinavian rug collection, a celebration of Swedish Modernism with new large scale geometry and vintage colorways like that of their midcentury inspirations. This particular Scandinavian rug employs a high-low marriage of pile and flat-weave techniques in play with the alternating variations of beige-brown, off-white, and gray tones fond in the colorway. While the unique sense of engaging movement is notable, the complementary variations of texture in both the lush pile and dignified lower geometry promotes a soothing mood lending to a greater variety of spaces than high-low rugs are renowned for, let alone Scandinavian rug archetypes once relegated strictly to pile and flat-weave unlike this piece.
