This custom Kilim design is a new addition to the Scandinavian Collection by Rug
Kilim. Handwoven in wool and natural yarns, its design reflects a contemporary take on mid-century Rollakans and Swedish Deco style.
On the Design:
These photos represent a 6x9 flat weave in this design, enjoying lattice geometric patterns in blue and green with subtle cream accents. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique of ours both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
Our flat weave further enjoys a thick, more durable body than any flat weave in high-end rugs. It’s a hallmark of our Kilim design, and another contemporary contribution to the Scandinavian aesthetic that sits comfortably anywhere.
