On the Design
These photos represent a recently sold 6x9 rug in our “Nu” flat weave construction, handwoven in wool with a boucle-like texture of yarns, and a look both impressionistic and comfortable. This rug enjoys geometric patterns in brown and gold hues atop a taupe field. Keen eyes will further admire the marriage of the high-low texture to the geometry and its fabulous complement to the movement and graphic nature of such a modern piece. The choice of colors, too, explores their retro feel in a more refreshing style, thereby making it a particularly warm piece made to enliven any space. Connoisseurs may admire this proprietary technique of ours that both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
