Handmade in flat-woven wool, this modern flat weave is an addition to the reputed Scandinavian Kilim collection by Rug
Kilim, celebrating the mid-century Scandinavian rug style in a unique approach to recapturing vintage colorways with transitional modern elements to complement. Hues of beige-brown and a subtle gray blue bring out the alluring texture and subtle colorway variation, an element created by our blend of undyed natural yarns in homage to the Scandinavian rug tradition of implementing excess materials into pieces like this. The crisp, bright white is an additionally rare element unseen in the vintage Scandinavian Kilim rugs of inspiration, as is the body and durability of this piece—a hallmark of the Scandinavian Kilim line more resistant to buckling and shifting underfoot.
