Kilim’s Scandinavian Collection, a celebration of Swedish modernism with new large-scale geometry and exciting vintage colorways like that of their midcentury inspirations. This piece embodies one of the most exciting, innovative achievements in marrying pile and flat-weave for a unique play of textural high-low elements and a more abstract, bold juxtaposition of geometry and dimensionality. Likewise, the abrashed look of the gentler beige-brown background—achieved by our unique blend of yarns to create such an aesthetic—is juxtaposed in such an arresting, high-fashion way with the dancing fractal geometry in its eclectic blue, beige-brown, gold, pink, mint green and black notes; the ultimate look of which lends such a unique sense of movement and a tactile complement to the visually grasping qualities worth celebrating in this rug.
