Handwoven in wool with a unique blend of natural undyed yarns, this modern Kilim rug hails from the latest flat-weave additions to Rug
Kilim’s Scandinavian Kilim collection, a celebration of Swedish modernism with new large-scale geometry and exciting vintage colorways like that of their mid-century inspirations. This particular 8 x 10 piece enjoys a particular duality of subtle colorway variation, both in the differentiations through our aforementioned yarn blend that create the abrashed aesthetic as well as in the variations from multi-tonal blue, gray, beige-brown, green, and black in the geometry. The play of both these unique senses of movement complements the very reserved pallet of earth tones and rich hues alike, as well as the inviting, very natural dimensionality created through the juxtaposition of forgiving and dark tones in the graph. Furthermore, this Kilim rug enjoys the hallmark durability in body and resistance to buckling and shifting underfoot that we’ve achieved through this Kilim line, a proud collaboration originating from one of our most reputed looms in India.
The design from this 8’2 x 10’ stock piece is also available in other custom colors and sizes currently in stock, with additional custom orders and variations of pile and flat weaves available within 90 days upon request.
