This 6x8 Swedish style kilim is from the inventive “Nu” texture in Rug
Kilim’s award-winning Scandinavian flat weave collection. Handwoven in wool and all-natural hemp, it’s a sustainable, high-end contemporary approach to mid-century Rollakans and Swedish Deco style.
On the Design:
This rug enjoys a boucle-like texture of blended yarns, and a look both impressionistic and comfortable in its details. Connoisseurs will admire the rustic look of an abrash in its subtle color variation, and the sense of movement they create within the geometric patterns. Furthermore the high-and-low play of the triangles in the field lends a fabulous sense of depth and dimensionality that sits beautifully.
