This 9x12 Kilim rug is from the flatweave line in the Scandinavian rug collection by Rug
Kilim. Handwoven in wool and natural yarns, its design is a modern take on Rollakhan and Rya rugs in the Swedish Deco style.
On the Design:
These photos represent a 9x12 rug in an even finer quality than our primary construction, with geometric patterns in chartreuse green, gray and blue tones. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique of ours both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
This modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. A comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish Deco aesthetic.
