This 3x10 runner rug is a Swedish style kilim from the Scandinavian rug collection by Rug Kilim. Handwoven in all-natural hemp and aloe, this flatweave is inspired by vintage Swedish Deco Rollakan and Rya rugs. On the Design: This runner enjoys geometric patterns and stripes in beige-brown and black, with a fabulous natural sheen to its construction. Keen eyes will admire its particular blend of yarns, interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique both honors mid-century Scandinavian weaving techniques and lends a fabulous abrash like that of classic rugs. The result is a smart complement to the sense of movement that plays beautifully with this style’s minimalist geometry. Our flat weave construction further enjoys a durable, heavy body that sits comfortably under heavy furniture and high-traffic spaces.
