This 3x7 runner rug is a Swedish style kilim from the Scandinavian rug collection by Rug
Kilim. Handwoven in wool and natural yarns, this flatweave is inspired by vintage Swedish Deco Rollakan and Rya rugs.
On the Design:
This runner enjoys chevrons and geometric patterns in tones of beige-brown, blue and gray with other rich accents. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique both honors mid-century Scandinavian weaving techniques and creates a gorgeous abrashed colorway like a classic rug. The result is a smart complement to the sense of movement that plays beautifully with this style’s minimalist geometry.
