Kilim. Handwoven in wool, cotton and natural yarns, this flatweave is inspired by vintage Swedish Deco Rollakan and Rya rugs.
On the Design:
This runner enjoys geometric patterns in rich brown tones with geometric patterns in black, dark blue and beige accents. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique is a playful modern take on mid-century Scandinavian weaving techniques that creates a gorgeous abrashed look. The result achieves a smart new sense of movement that plays beautifully and naturally with this style’s minimalist geometry.
